People think building muscle is expensive. But you can do it for $8 a day.

For Breakfast: Have an anabolic peanut butter smoothie—48g of protein for just $1.50. It’s cheap because milk and whey are some of the most affordable protein sources. Just blend milk, peanut butter, whey, a banana, and oats, and you’re set. For supplements, take 5g of creatine (15 cents) and a multivitamin (5 cents).

For Lunch: A pre-workout chicken wrap with brown rice, spinach, cheese, salsa, sour cream, and a whole wheat tortilla—43g of protein for $2.01.

For Pre-workout: A cup of coffee for 25 cents or a caffeine pill for just 5 cents.

For your workout: Some gyms in the US and Canada cost as little as $10/month, which breaks down to 33 cents a day.

Post-workout: A turkey and veggie stir-fry—46g of protein for $2.83. For tracking, MacroFactor only costs 20 cents a day if you go for the yearly membership.

Before bed: Greek yogurt and peanut butter dip with apple slices and sunflower seeds—27g of protein for $1.60.

Total cost: $8.92.

Get nostalgic with these Smiley Fries! #summervibes

✨Recipe:
Yellow potatoes (Yukon gold)
Cornstarch

Directions:
1. Peel and chop potatoes, and to a pot of boiling water add 1 tbsp salt and potato chunks. Cook for 18 minutes or until fork sticks through.
2. Drain the water, and transfer potatoes to a mixing bowl and mash with a fork, push them through a strainer to get an even smoother consistency.
3. Mix the cornstarch into the potatoes to form a “dough”, and roll flat on a clean surface to about 1 cm thick
3. Use a round cookie cutter (2in in diameter) and cut out circles.
4. Transfer the cutouts to wax or parchment paper
5. Imprint the smiles on like seen in the video
6. Heat up oil to 350°F, and drop in 3-4 fries at a time letting them fry 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Serve and enjoy!

Rice -

300g (10.58oz) - Basmati Rice, Washed
600g (600ml) - Cold Water
Salt To Taste

Sweet & Sour Sauce -

1/2 Cup (125ml) - Light Soy Sauce
1/3 Cup (80ml) - Pineapple Juice
4 Tbsp (80g) - Honey
2 Tbsp (40ml) - Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbsp (40ml) - Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp (40g) - Tomato Ketchup
2 Tbsp (12g) - Corn Flour or Corn Starch

Sweet & Sour Chicken -

2 1/2 Tbsp (50ml) - Grapeseed Oil, Divided
1.4kg (3.09lbs) - Chicken Breast or Thigh, Diced (See Notes)
3 - Bell Peppers (Capsicums), Large Diced (Any Colour Is Fine)
1 - Brown (Yellow) Onion, Sliced
4 - Garlic Cloves, Minced
15g (0.53oz) - Ginger, Peeled & Minced
Seasoning To Taste

Recipe Notes -

Chicken Thigh Instead Of Chicken Breast -

If you wish to use chicken thighs instead, sear the chicken for 12 minutes instead of 6 minutes. Continue the recipe as normal.
