Packaged Milk Mixes like Bournvita, Horlicks etc. are consumed on a daily basis. But did you know that these products are loaded with sugar, artificial flavours, added colours & have low nutritional value despite all the claims.
While plain milk is most recommended, some kids like adding a chocolate mix, so why not make it at home!
Method:
🥛Dry roast 2/3rd cup makhana & grind into a fine powder
🥛Combine the makhana powder with 2 tbsp almond flour, 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder & 3 tbsp brown sugar
🥛Mix well & your milk mix is ready!
👉🏼 Makhana is a rich source of calcium that is a must for growing kids. Being high in fibre, it prevents constipation & ensures good digestion. It is also high in protein & antioxidants, helps detoxify the liver & maintain good kidney health.
👉🏼Almond Flour is an excellent source of fibre for good gut health. It works as an immunity booster & also provides energy. Almonds promote healthy brain development & are also good for healthy skin & hair
👉🏼Unsweetened cocoa powder contains flavonoids that are known to improve heart and oral health. It works as a natural mood & energy booster and enhances brain health and cognitive functions.

Nutrition facts per serving:
298 kcal | 8.5g protein | 28g carbs | 16g fat
Ingredients:
- 1 pack silken tofu (400g)
- 180g dark chocolate
- about 4 tbsp maple syrup (adjust to taste)
Blend everything together until smooth then let it rest in the fridge for at least 1 hours and enjoy 🤌🏻💚

Salty Chocolate Milk
3 cups of raw milk (any kind wors! I love raw for calcium)
2 TBS maple syrup
1 Chocolate Salt LMNT
2 tsp vanilla colostrum powder *will link soon!
30-Minute Garden Veggie Soup Dinner Recipe 🪴
4 small leeks
1 sweet onion
4 cloves of garlic
3 carrots
4 small gold potatoes
chop all veggies and add into deep dish pan with 2-3 tbs of ghee. saute for 5 minutes then add garlic, salt, and pepper. add 1/2 tsp of thyme, 1/4 tsp rosemary, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp onion salt. add 5 cups of bone broth (I get mine at Costco or homemade is amazing!) bring everything to a boil then add chicken tenderloins (or breast or thighs) and immediately cover and lower heat for 30 mins. remove chicken and shred then add it back into the soup and top with parmigiano reggiano! delicious!

Here's a great recipe for homemade lemonade! All natural and just 3 ingredients. Better yet, there's no refined sugar, instead it's sweetened with natural honey! Plus, because this homemade lemonade isn't heated you don't lose any of the Vitamin C!
When life gives you lemons make lemonade, or in my case, when your wife gives you lemons make her some homemade lemonade!!
Homemade lemonade is also a great alternative to soft drinks for those of us who are trying to cut back, and great for any party or get together.

Shelf life - Make the cucumber water and amla water fresh everyday. The turmeric mix and ccf spice mix should be stored in a glass jar in a dry place for 2 months while the lemon ginger ice cubes can be stored in the freezer for up to a month.
