There are a lot or recipes for fried chicken, many try to imitate the famous KFC secret recipe, you can see my version on this channel. But let's face it, as good as KFC might be, it's convenience food and why try and make something when you can simply buy it. The only reason I can think of is to make it better. You just can't beat the freshness of home made fried chicken. Now this is not a copycat recipe, but it is quite simple to make and despite its simplicity, I'll be bold enough to claim that it's the best fried chicken recipe you will ever find. With the smokiness of the paprika, the popcorn like crunchy coating and the brined moist chicken thigh, you will be amazed at the outcome. I've made this using boneless, skinless chicken thighs but you can certainly make it with breast and keep the skin on if you prefer. Serve it with a salad or you can also use this recipe for an awesome chicken burger. Make it quick before this also becomes a secret fried chicken recipe!

What you will be needing
Brine for chicken
9 cups cold water
10 pc chicken I used legs and thighs
2 tablespoons seasoning salt I use lawrys
1 tablespoon creole seasoning I use Tony’s
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
Place In fridge with chicken 7 to 8 hours being sure brine Is covering chicken
When ready pat dry really well let come to room temperature 25 minutes or so before coating and frying
3 cups all purpose flour
4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon onion powder
3 egg whites
1/2 cup cold water
Few shakes of your favorite hot sauce
Canola or peanut oil for frying
Large heavy tall pot for frying...

We’ll start with 3 lbs of chicken wings - this is 28 wings. They came as whole wings, I’ve split them and cut off the tips. You’ll end up with a lot of tips and you can save them to make a good homemade chicken stock. Heat up a few inches of vegetable oil in a heavy pot. In a bowl, crack eggs, add salt, garlic powder and ground black pepper. Mix this really well. In another bowl, add all purpose flour, salt, garlic powder, paprika, ground black pepper and onion powder. Mix this really well. Take each piece of chicken and dip it in cornstarch on both sides. It’s easiest to pile ½ cup of cornstarch on one side of a baking pan, dip each piece in and leave it on the tray. The chicken pieces should be completely covered in the corn starch. Now dip each piece in the egg mixture, drip off excess and put in the flour. Completely coat each piece with the seasoned flour. It’s best to use the non-eggy hand for the flour. Set the coated pieces on the same baking tray. To check if your oil is hot, gently put the tip of a piece of chicken in and if it bubbles, the oil is ready. When frying, don’t overcrowd the pot, put in a few pieces at a time. I can put 5 pieces in this pot at one time. I’m using a cast iron 3.2 quart pot that came as a combo with a 10.25 inch skillet. In case you’re interested, I’ll put a link to the combo in the description below. Cook the chicken for 8 to 10 minutes depending on how big they are. I cooked mine for 10 minutes since they are large wings. Turn them over halfway. If you have a splatter screen, this is a good time to use it to avoid grease all over your stove top.
Drain them and place on a paper towel lined plate or wire rack. Keep frying them in batches.
These wings are very crispy with a good amount of crust. The meat is juicy. The wings are seasoned nicely so they can be eaten by themselves. Of course you can serve them with hot sauce, ketchup, barbecue or your favorite sauce.
I don’t have a whole plate of chicken to show you as they were being eaten by my family while I was making them. They are best eaten hot but I had a few several hours later and they were still crispy. This is a great recipe for any kind of party or occasion as everyone loves wings. today's recipe is perfect KFC style Fried Chicken recipe in a homemade version. I hope u guys will like this easy and delicious chicken fry recipe...
Here is what you'll need!
chicken pieces with skin - 500 g
salt - 1/4 tsp
soya sauce - 1/2 tblsp
tomato ketchup - 1 tblsp
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
instant noodles masala (like Maggi) - 1 pack
IT's optional but it will help to increase the taste...plz try with it.
for coating:
All purpose flour - 1.5 cups
corn flour - 1/4 cup
salt - 1/2 tsp
Garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tblsp
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp, for nice golden color but its optional

SENPAI'S FRIED CHICKEN:
BRINE:
1 whole chicken (cut into 10 pieces)
4c butter milk
1 whole lemon (juiced but use the whole thing)
6tbs ap flour
3tbs garlic powder
3tbs onion powdwr
3tbs paprika
2tbs cayenne pepper
1.5tbs black pepper
2tbs MAGIC
1.25tbs ginger
1/4c fresh rosemary
CHICKEN DREDGE:
2.5c all purpose flour
1c corn starch
1tbs MAGIC
MAGIC SEASONING
1/2c salt
2tbs sugar
2tbs MSG
- brine chicken overnight (16+ hours)
- drain off a little of the batter then go straight into the dredge, pressing it in
- fry at 300 for 5-7 minutes
- rest for at least 30 minutes
- then fry again at 300 for 3-4 minutes
